Students will write down a subject and a verb (animals usually work best) on a notecard or small piece of paper and parents will write down a prepositional phrase without knowing what the subject and the verb are on another notecard. Put these two notecards together to make a complete sentence. Student will then draw a picture that relates to both of the notecards. See examples under Language Arts tab for today.

Students will go outside and throw the airplane. As they throw it, they will notice where it goes using prepositions.
They will then write a simple preposition poem in Google Classroom about the journey of the airplane. Do not forget to share the poem with me at [email protected].

Today will be a catch up day for students (and maybe parents)! Please make sure that you have completed all assignments above and turned them in to me. If you have completed all the above and I have received them, you may work on MobyMax, Zearn, your Choice Board, Read Theory, XtraMath, or read a book. We are getting further directions from administration on how to continue with virtual learning today so I will be in touch. I am also going to send out an email today about a virtual class meeting either Monday or Tuesday so be looking for information about that. Have a great day!
